Ziemann Holvrieka holds the esteemed certification as a Siemens solution provider for the Siemens TIA engineering platform and the Siemens SISTAR BRAUMAT DCS control system. The SISTAR BRAUMAT control module library, developed in collaboration with Siemens, has evolved over time to leverage cloud-based software engineering with the latest BRAUMAT 8 version, based on WINCC Unified.

Ziemann Holvrieka utilises EPLAN, the world’s leading application for electrical system design, to create the electrical system’s blueprint. A patented database connection ensures freedom from errors and redundancy. Compliance with industry standards, such as DINEN60204, guarantees the highest quality.

Complete As-Built Documentation

We provide the customer with a comprehensive electrical as-built documentation, ensuring transparency and enabling smooth maintenance and future upgrades.

Functional Design

Customer-Specific Software Development
ZH takes a customer-centric approach to software development, creating custom software based on a Functional Design Specification (FDS). The FDS is submitted to the customer for approval at an early project stage, fostering collaboration and alignment.

Cloud-Based Approval Process
To streamline the approval process, the FDS is delivered as an MTP file, enabling cloud-based checking and release by the customer.

Software Development

Adherence to ANSI/ISA-88 Standard
ZH has been following the ANSI/ISA-88 standard (IEC61512) for batch control for decades, ensuring a reliable and consistent approach to software development.

Preferred Automation Systems
ZH’s preferred automation systems are SISTAR BRAUMAT and PCS7 from Siemens. The software is thoroughly tested through a documented software FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) in collaboration with the customer.

Digital Twin

A Digital Twin for Future Plant
ZH offers customers a digital twin of their future brewery plant after the design freeze. The digital twin is continuously enriched with additional data until the plant’s handover. The twin includes a 3D mechanical model and an automation twin (MTP file) for process simulation.

Cloud-Based Access for Engineering Data

Customers are provided with cloud-based access to engineering data, facilitating life cycle management. An API interface allows customers to link specific data to the platform.
