Positive Pressure for Asepticity

Asepticity is crucial for juice processing. To achieve this, NFC tanks need to be protected from contamination after sterilization. Due to the large size of NFC storage tanks, operating them under vacuum is not feasible. Instead, we use a positive pressure approach, ensuring that nothing penetrates the interior even in the event of potential leaks.

However, positive pressure alone is not enough to guarantee aseptic conditions. To prevent the settlement of organisms, we protect all valves and seals with a sterilising medium. Our comprehensive quality control system ensures that all components meet the required high standards.

Hygienic Design for FCOJ Tanks

For FCOJ (Frozen Concentrate Orange Juice) tanks, Ziemann Holvrieka offers tanks of various dimensions, including large tank farms and complete cold store process installations. We take into account the sharp increase in juice concentrate viscosity when cooled to normal storage temperatures of -10°C. Our design calculations consider static tank loads, pumps, and transfer lines, ensuring reliable and efficient storage solutions.

Effective Cleaning with CIP & SIP

To maintain consistently high product quality, proper cleaning is essential. Ziemann Holvrieka provides CIP (Clean-in-Place) and SIP (Sterilisation-in-Place) systems that effectively remove residues, deposits, and kill microorganisms. Our turnkey storage terminals facilitate juice storage for up to 18 months, supported by our well-designed CIP and SIP concepts.
